STORY

Around a hundred years BC, all of Gaul is far from Roman control. In the lands controlled by the Helvetii, a Roman legion was subjugated by young warchief Divico, blessed by an ancient boon brought to him from parts unknown.

However, this victory came at a great cost, as soon the result of the war chief's pact would turn into a curse; an ever spreading rot crawling through his land, and slowly corrupting his mind and heart. Monsters and cultists start appearing throughout the land, and a shadowy figure makes his move, taking advantage of the chaos he helped create.

With the help of the trusted yet reclusive druid Nammeios and the curious half-beast Renart, Divico sets his journey to undo the source of the rot and restore what was lost inside him. Through his own martial prowess and powers conferred by the old gods, the fight ahead promises to be intense.

Characters

Divico

A young, brash and ambitious chief of the helvetii Tribes.

Because of his hubris in accepting a pact that would gift him with power to defeat the invading romans, Divico has cursed both himself and his land. Strange growths have started to spur from his skin, slowly corrupting his mind and body. To save everything that he holds dear, he hurries towards the source of the curse to break it before it is too late.

His strength and stubbornness makes him both a terrific fighter, and a rather grumpy companion. But underneath his rough exterior, Divico wants to do the right thing and right the wrongs he has committed.

Special ability | Strong attacks

Out of the trio, Divico possesses exceptional strength. As such, he can use powerful strong attacks that can send enemies flying, break their guards and even interrupt their most powerful incoming attacks.

Renart

The curse has affected both the land and its inhabitants in many strange ways.

Renart is a fox-turned-man who awakened one morning to their new form as the rot started spreading across their woods. Quite displeased with their new state of affairs, they sought the help of a nearby druid, who just happened to be meeting with a peculiar human warrior.

Renart’s nimble physique and love of showing off and acrobatics gives them quite impressive aerial combo and dizzying speed. But their weak constitution leaves them more vulnerable to attacks.

Special ability | Parries

Renart loves to taunt and then rub it into the enemy’s face. By using their special attack right before getting hit, they can counter enemies and slash them into lots of tiny pieces. If your timing is particularly good, you can even get perfect parries that will slice and dice everything in your path

Nammeios

Nammeios has left her village a long, long time ago, preferring spending her time in solitude, perfecting her art and tending to her gardens.

But it was quite a surprise when, as she felt the rot spreading, she suddenly gets the visit of a boisterous young man and a strange humanoid fox. She decides to chaperone the two young souls, keeping the party together so they might have a chance to stop the spread of the curse.

Nammeios does not have much in terms of physical strength, but her magical crow partner Caros protects her everywhere she goes. She can control him from a distance and toy with enemies easily, but be careful to not let yourself caught off-guard.

Special ability | Mana burst

Nammeios’s link with nature lets her tap into powerful abilities.

She can decide to let the mana inside her explode, blasting enemies away and powering up her attacks while she has enough energy to maintain her aura.
